I am a first-year student at Wheaton College, I intend to major in Women's and Gender Studies and Psychology or Sociology. I am plan to on to graduate school for a Masters in Counseling Psychology in order to work in a counseling role with transgender youth.My work experience is in childcare. I worked with early elementary students as a Sunday School assistant teacher at Germantown Jewish Centre and have worked with middle schoolers as a camp counselor at a sleepaway summer camp.I have built strong teamwork skills through working in these jobs. I built my leadership and problem-solving skills participating in Teen Adventure Leadership Training in July 2022, as well as through being a member of my high school mock trial team’s executive board. Competing on an award-winning mock trial team for 4 years built my skill in public speaking, teamwork, and creativity as well.
