I am a diligent third-year student of the Ohio University Honors Tutorial College (December 2025), majoring in Journalism and minoring in Political Science. At OU, I have connected as a commuter through on-campus student organizations. I am a political columnist and news writer for The Post - Athens, Ohio University’s largest independent newspaper. I also am a member of Ohio University’s chapter of the Society of Professional Journalists.I have also have magazine-writing experience as a writer for HerCampus Ohio U (a student-run magazine). Furthermore, I was Editor-in-Chief for the 2023-24 year, which enriched my skills in team-building, member retention, engagement, and editing.As an Athens, OH local, I value community-driven and inspired initiatives, which led me to co-found the Society of Athens Preservation with additional students from diverse backgrounds and fields of study. I am the long-form editor, developing our newsletter for the upcoming academic year. I consider myself to be an enthusiastic communicator, collaborator, and ambitious leader with advanced skills in organization, critical thinking, and writing. Currently, I am working on research projects in the Indigenous media as a Research Assistant, as well as pursuing my multimedia research interests.I am open to internships, externships, and experiences in media settings!
