I joined Shafer Systems to work on the Google acquired Quickoffice Suite. My role here was to implement a suite of new features, bug fixes, and UI enhancements with product direction from Google’s product managers and designers. This was an amazing opportunity to work on a very large, legacy codebase, with some of the best designers and product owners at Google.

I joined the Travelocity team to help lead design and development in the new mobile applications. The design and development both utilize iOS 7. While there I also aided management in identifying new feature sets, and completely reoptimizing Travelocity's App Store Search Engine Optimization. The Travelocity application was chosen as a launch partner by Apple for the reveal of the iPhone 5S and iOS 7. It was one of my greatest achievements seeing a product I worked on, make it to Apple’s big screen.

At Neiman Marcus my role was to help design and develop wireframes and prototypes to pitch the Neimans Director of Product, Director of Mobile, and CIO. A few of the products I worked on included;Ken Downing Fashion Showcase app - This application was pitched as a way for Neiman’s customers to stay in touch and up to date with Ken Downing’s fashion blogs and fashion shows. Fling - Fling was an application that allowed customers to learn more about high end Neimans products. I developed an over the air system that allowed a customer to “fling” a product from an iPad to a monitor (powered behind the scenes by an iOS app and Mac app) and then receive information about the product such as model images, or runway footage. Fling was a product that allowed customers to learn and experience a product without having to be aided by a store associate.

As CEO of Idea 2 App Store I am faced with a very diverse set of challenges. It is my duty to make sure the client receives the applications on time and in the specifications they desire. I also handle a lot of the high level code writing.

Taylor Pierce Apps LLC developed both client and personal apps. Taylor Pierce Apps developed the Virtual Coach iPhone App series that had over 300,000 paid downloads in only two years. The Virtual Coach series was sold to Thumbs Media LLC in October 2012.
