Assisted Dr. Rena Mendelson with marking midterms and social marketing campaigns for the FNP300 Nutrition Communication course at Ryerson. The course focuses on students applying communication and motivation theories while covering topics such as health literacy, habit formation and total diet approach.

Developed and delivered the FNN201 Nutrition Through the Lifespan lecture on food security alongside Dr. Sandra Juutilainen. Researched and synthesized information on both global and Canadian food security and adapted the lecture to online format due to COVID-19.

In partnership with MLSE LaunchPad and under the supervision of Dr. Nick Bellissimo, led the research study “A cross-sectional assessment of diet quality, eating behaviours and household food security status in youth 9-18.”

Under the supervision of Dr. Nick Bellissimo, assisted with the following studies: o Effect of high-intensity interval exercise and chocolate milk on glycemic response, subjective appetite and cognitive performance in 9-13-year-old childreno Effect of Hershey-developed snacks on cognitive performance, satiety and food intake, subjective emotions, and glycemic response in healthy adultso Effect of white potatoes on glycemic response and satiety in older adultso Effects of eggs and egg components on cognitive performance and appetite in childreno Validation of a novel electronic image based visual analogue scale to assess motivation toeat and thirst in children and adolescents

• Led the planning and management of Honoured Guest communications and logistics for seven WE Day events and associated events across three countries, ensuring regular communication with all regional offices while effectively presenting and rectifying any challenges• Worked closely with the co-founders and executives in managing critical documents (guest lists, meet and greet schedules, etc.), while continuously integrating feedback in a proactive manner• Provided organization-wide direction and support for the recording of all Honoured Guest invitations in Salesforce, enhancing organization-wide communication with past, current and prospective guests• Managed and trained staff and hundreds of volunteers at WE Day events in an inclusive and collaborative manner, creating exceptional volunteer experiences evidenced by positive reviews
