Provena now has there own complete drum circle kit on campus, and they run their own drum circles on a weekly basis without additional staffing requirements, and with much benefit to the health of the residents and the morale of staff.

Chaired the Performing Arts Committee til 2004, bringing Maynard Fergusson, Kingston Trio, Chinese Golden Dragon Acrobats, Beatles Revolution, Muntu Dance Theater, and many others to Freeport for the community to enjoy. Most of these shows brought good money into the Freeport Art Museum's coffers.
