Through my position as the senior team intern for the Vincentian Outreach and Formation team at DePaul University, I have been able to combine my passion for community outreach with my studies in business. In this position, I have successfully increased student knowledge of the organization by engaging in monthly classroom visits and weekly informative tabling sessions. I created a monthly newsletter email marketing campaign to streamline how information is given to students. This was executed through Mail Chimp's platform. I have also planned events such as weekly volunteering, service immersion trips, and also Vincentian service days by coordinating with other university offices and departments to increase community service involvement among students. I have also used my skills in graphic design and marketing to design posters and promotions using Photoshop and Illustrator to promote student knowledge and participation in the Vincentian Community Service Office.

In this position I planned and integrated a marketing campaign comprised of welcome mats and pop up messages on the company's website and blog to capture potential leads through the Sumo platform. I also implemented and maintained a conversation driven marketing and sales platform on to the website to convert questions and leads into customers through the Drift program. On a daily basis I engaged with customers through customer service calls, up-selling new products and features, holding meetings on best practices to increase consumer generated content. I also created and planned promotional advertisements for customers through the use of Photoshop. On a weekly basis I would collect and send data metric reports to employees of the company, giving an in site on our user performance.

In this position, I was able to use my marketing skills to create, budget, and implement a strategic marketing plan for financial advisors to gain clients through direct mailers, informational sessions, and client appreciation events. A large part of my role at Hoopis was assisting financial advisors through application processes for both life insurance and mutual fund investing by coordinating with clients and new business departments. I was able to exemplify my organizational and communication skills through this position, as I worked simultaneously on several different projects at once collaborating with a large group of coworkers. I also worked on computing projected Investments and budgeting for clients by creating data illustrations to present to clients.

I have gained experience and knowledge of social media marketing through my position at Boho Pretty Mobile Boutique. At this position, I was responsible for researching, budgeting, creating, and implementing a strategic marketing plan that focused on social media. Since the company was mobile, it was necessary to create a following to increase client traffic at the different pop-up locations. At Boho Pretty I managed a social media content calendar, establishing a social media presence and tripling the following and customer interaction on Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat. I also created original graphics and content for promotions, social media, and websites using Photoshop to increase knowledge of products and events. Not only did I work on keeping Boho Pretty's social media relevant, but I also constantly updated products and promotions through Shopify to keep the website relevant and increase customer engagement. I also composed monthly blog posts through WordPress to inform readers of past and upcoming events, focusing on search engine optimization to gain new customers and broaden the online community.In addition, I worked as a sales associate, assisting customers in the boutique and at checkout. Another part of my role was to accurately inventory and expedite online shipping orders to boost customer satisfaction levels. In this position, I was also in charge of managing and coordinating events and pop-up locations with festivals and other businesses.One of my favorite projects while working here was developing and implementing a monthly subscription box by researching competitors and streamlining the retailer to consumer logistics to generate a consistent monthly revenue.
