In 2011, I co-founded Tahoe Expedition Academy, a fully accredited Pk-12th grade school created to harness the power of young people in today's world. We designed a modern experiential approach that uses the power of Constructive Adversity to transform the lives of young people by pushing them past their comfort zones. Our students have spent hundreds of days and nights in the field over the past ten years, having traveled to regional, national and international locations to engage with academic content, to build character, to work with professionals and experts, to test their own boundaries and to make a difference in the world.Our school is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. Our goal is to help change the face of education for thousands of young people by empowering teachers and creating things that we don't even know about yet.
