Lead school groups in the Discover China Through Art (DCTA) program. DCTA introduces audiences to Chinese art and culture through a three-part interactive program that complements the Gallery’s exhibitions. The participants experiment with Chinese art through an introductory video presentation, a docent-led gallery discussion, and a hands-on art workshop. Through these popular workshops, participants experience Chinese art up close and have the opportunity to learn and apply fundamental techniques.Designed 3 school workshops for a UNESCO grant focused on the cultural heritage of The 24 Solar Terms. Tested workshops in New York City Public middle and elementary schools.

Designed hands-on activities for two exhibits- Gods and Mortals at Olympus: Ancient Dion, City of Zeus, and A World of Emotions Ancient Greece 700BC-200AD. Led tours with participatory activities and created and produced materials.

Led the daily operations of after school and summer programming at DREAM Charter School and PS 171 for up to 250 youth that focused on leadership, team building, literacy, fitness, and character development.Supervised and developed one full-time coordinator, 5 dedicated part-time associates, 30 part-time line-staff, and enrichment specialists.Created and executed an inter-departmental leadership training program for young professionals who were interested in growing their career within the organization. Topics included leadership and management skills, professional communication and workplace conflict resolutionLed special project management assignments including directing and managing cross-functional teams to deliver large scale projects against a well defined strategy and timeline. Projects included several rounds of curriculum writing initiatives, piloting a train the trainer program and spearheading a work skills program for our high school participants to received paid employment within our elementary school summer programPlanned and executed multi-week, all day, professional development institutes for diverse audiences including college level staff, seasoned teachers and enrichment specialists.Strategically and thoughtfully merged two separate programs into one seamless team by setting up staff teambuilding sessions, resetting expectations, promoting strong staff to leadership roles and streamlining operations.
