To date, I have worked with scores of artiste, producers, photographers and social media influencers. At Tigers Music Limited, I helped pioneer and design a split sheet (working formula) that assigns ownership and determine the royalties accrued to each contributor over a collaborative intellectual property work. I have negotiated and re-negotiated terms of contracts worth Millions of Dollars between artistes to protect their creative rights at the infant stage. Under my Leadership, the Company has successfully secured distribution rights for creative properties on Apple Music, BMI and SESAC.Besides my longstanding interest in entertainment law, I honed all the necessary skills needed to serve as an effective corporate/commercial lawyer. I have sought and acquired extensive experience in analytical writing, legal drafting, legal opinions and conducting research. Some of my most outstanding results are -Leading a team of management staff to Ghana to advise Flip Digitals (a multimillion startup Fintech Company) on recruitment and protection of the company’s innovation and intellectual propertyAs the youngest lawyer at the National Commission for Refugees, I was charged with the sole responsibility of reviewing and vetting all contracts with the commission and the presidency. I oversee about 2500 vendors who submitted bids at the commission. I am open to engagements with organizations in the media, broadcast and entertainment industries.
