Compliance Manager
CurrentRole Overview: As a Compliance Manager for SRL Enterprises, I spearhead our initiatives to fulfill and surpass supplier diversity and workforce compliance requirements for each project. I oversee compliance efforts and actively engage with subcontractors and vendors to ensure all standards are met.Key Responsibilities:As the primary contact for compliance-related inquiries and concerns, I provide information and resolve issues regarding compliance, reporting, and engagement. I oversee the collection and organization of data necessary for compliance reporting, ensuring the timely and accurate submission of monthly, quarterly, and annual reports. Additionally, I monitor and review the status and payments of subcontractors and vendors, ensuring compliance with billing and prompt payment requirements for each project. I conduct and coordinate Commercially Useful Function (CUF) assessments for subcontractors and vendors, reporting findings throughout the project.To ensure our team is well-prepared, I provide training for project staff to develop the skills needed to identify and evaluate potential contractors and vendors. I also develop and maintain strong working relationships with project owners, contractors, and subcontractors to facilitate ongoing communication regarding compliance and engagement. Furthermore, I organize and lead outreach events sponsored by the project team and participate in local meetings, events, and conferences. I build and update a database of contractors and vendors qualified to work on projects, identify and vet potential hires, and recommend qualified subcontractors and vendors to meet all utilization targets. Finally, I initiate quality control measures based on internal audits related to compliance activities.
