I am also leading up the relevancy, diversity and inclusion component for the Outdoor Adventure Expo taking place in September at Cherry Creek State Park. I will be ensuring that our diverse communities that make up Colorado are addressed in the planning and execution of the event. During the summer of 2014 (June 15th - August 15th)and 2015 (June 15th - August 14th) I held this intern position working for the US Forest Service Region 9 Office Milwaukee in partner with Mobilize Green. Duties include creating and planning environmental education programs for Milwaukee youth groups with 20-80 children, ages 6-18. Topics covered in curriculum involved water, trees, pollution, pollination, ecosystems and soil. Coordinate with a diverse team of interns to complete programing.
