Maxilla City CiC is a youth-led, non-profit aiming to transform Maxilla Bays 17-19 into a versatile, multipurpose, creative hub in collaboration with the North Kensington community.The history of the space, along with the conversations & involvements initiated by the community, from Kindred Studios to Latimer City to the MAG (Maxilla Advisory Group) meetings, has led us to this point - a journey of progress & hope for the next generations to come.In order to generate ideas for the transformation of Maxilla Bays 17-19, we will be taking a co-design approach as it requires input from those who will directly benefit from & be effected by the changes made. Co-design puts the community at the core of key decision making. The voices of the community will be heard to ultimately shape how Maxilla Bays 17-19 functions & what it will look like.

The founding of Grow to Know was in hope to continuously and constantly inspire much needed change following the Grenfell Tower fire as myself and others turned to guerrilla gardening as a form of activism.I have since been on a journey, underpinned by trauma and injustice, whereby I have found myself tapping into creativity in the face of adversity as we seek solutions, joy and justice.Grow to Know has since partnered with the likes of Nike, Gucci, Penguin Random House and Pentagram and more, as we look for local, national and global action to confront social and environmental challenges collaboratively and through community. As founder, my work at Grow to Know has seen me take on many roles (wearing many hats!), but I have particularly embraced my role as Creative Director. I have found myself to be most comfortable approaching challenges through creativity - often coming up with ideas which seek to solve very complex socio-environmental issues working with private, public and third sector brands, institutions and organisations.
