Born and raised in Ladbroke Grove, London, I turned to guerrilla gardening as a way of healing following the Grenfell Tower fire tragedy in 2017. Over the past few years, my outlook on life has completely changed in my efforts to gain a sense of purpose, place and community.After a brief career as an aspiring footballer, lucky enough to play professionally, at 23 years old, I founded Grow2Know CiC (now Grow to Know), a not-for-profit collective offering creative nature-based solutions through impact-driven collaborations that aim to solve environmental and social challenges. It is through Grow to Know's work in which there is hope for the seeds of change to be planted.As Founder and Chief Exec of Grow to Know, I have developed, curated and collaborated with the likes of Penguin Random House, Nike, Natural History Museum and has lead creatively through two statement RHS Chelsea Flower Show gardens which evoked thought, emotion and conversation. I take my ambassadorial roles very seriously, offering insights, ideas whilst also keen to listen and learn. I am currently an ambassador for the RHS, The Conduit Club, Earthed and the Tree Council. I am also sometimes seen on BBC's Your Garden Made Perfect, Gardeners World, The One Show and Nick Knowles' Better Homes on Channel 5.It is my intention, through Grow to Know, to shift cultures and behaviours so that we can live in a world that allows both planet and people to coexist, thrive and bloom.I also continue to play football with Grenfell Athletic FC.
