Also led strategic research on the following areas: next generation search experience, healthcare, high-value task completion, privacy, visual search, personalization, exploration. Cloud and Datacenter Management (November 2011 – May 2013)Led software engineering teams through planning, design, development, testing, and release of key Microsoft cloud computing solutions. Helped product team to put customer at the center of product development. Designed overall user experience for the product including interaction design. Lync (October 2009 – November 2011)Led user research for all of Voice, Video, and Collaboration pillars of Microsoft Lync, with a special focus on remote multi-party collaboration. Developed the target customer segments and personas for both Lync and Lync Server.Windows Server (March 2007 – October 2009)Responsible for end-to-end planning and delivery of user research for key Microsoft server management products and services and enhancing the user experience of IT Pro user segment, especially focusing on desirability of products and services. Office Communicator (March 2006 – March 2007)Designed and conducted user research studies with local and global participants for Microsoft Office Communicator 2007, USB telephony devices, and various other communication and collaboration tools and services.

Served as the Chair for Asian ERG, the largest diversity organization at Microsoft with 16 Employee Networks and over 10,000 members under its umbrella. Transformed the organization to deliver on all three pillars of Microsoft global diversity initiatives: inclusion, representation, and market innovation.

Founded and ran a healthcare program focused towards urban slum dwellers. Grew the program to serve 10,000 slum residents every month.
