In his current role, Mr. Barber is a Managing Director in Deloitte Consulting's Enterprise Performance-SAP offering, providing his expertise to customers across the public sector industry.Mr. Barber began his career as a Cost Accountant and Systems Analyst with Electronic Data Systems (EDS) after completing his Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Texas A&M University in 1995. In 1997, Mr. Barber joined SAP America as a Functional Consultant and quickly moved up within the consulting organization to Project Manager. Mr. Barber completed his career with SAP as a Consulting Engagement Manager where he was responsible for providing services to over twenty customers. In 2001, Mr. Barber left SAP and started a small business focusing on functional and technical consulting in SAP.As a founding Partner of IBC, founded in 2003, Mr. Barber was responsible for business development, information technology, and program management. Additionally, he was responsible for all facets of the daily operations of IBC. IBC provided consulting services to numerous clients including the IRS, the US Army, NASA, Customs and Border Protection and USDA.In 2013, IBC merged with Dominion Business Solutions, Inc. and became IBC, A DBS Company. In 2016, IBC rebranded as Dominion Consulting. As a Managing Principal and Board Member of Dominion Consulting, Mr. Barber managed the ERP practice responsible for business development, program management and delivery for all engagements including SAP, Oracle and Momentum.In 2017, Dominion Consulting merged with TeraThink - a Federal Contractor focused on the Financial Management arena. The combined entity specialized in federal government services and significantly expanded both organizations capabilities between Federal Civilian and Defense agencies. As a Vice President for TeraThink, Mr. Barber continued to manage USDA as well as building the ERP practice across TeraThink.In 2020, Mr. Barber was tasked to complete the transition of TeraThink to CGI Federal following their acquisition in March 2020. He was responsibe for the successful delivery of existing contracts with the Federal Government, managed all back office functions including HR, IT, Accounting and Legal, as well as worked closely with CGI Leadership to manage the transition of contracts and personnel to CGI Federal. Upon completion of the transition, Mr. Barber joined the Regulatory Agency Programs (RAP) group.
