Managed the design, fabrication, installation and commissioning and show programming of Audio/Video, Projection, Lighting and Interactive systems for multiple attractions at Universal Studios Hollywood, including the Themed Entertainment Association Award Winning attraction "The Secret Life of Pets: Off the Leash."Upheld Creative and technical design intent through active collaboration with the Universal design team and formal direction to third-party vendors to both execute the artistic vision and ensure compliance with company technical specifications. Developed, communicated and maintained schedules, identified and negotiated necessary changes to contract and facilitated workflow for concurrent scopes through timely coordination with in-house personnel and other trades. Interfaced with vendor onsite personnel during installation, commissioning, show programming and delivery of the deployed systems and acceptance of final documentation.

Facilitated the progression and communications to support theme park, new build cruise ship and other land based architainment construction projects. Produced detailed system concept packages that provided A/V, lighting and rigging consultation to clients. Upheld design intent through the interpretation of contract documents, conceptual renderings and develop designs as required by client/project circumstances in cooperation with the design team. Developed, communicated and maintained schedules, budgets and workflow for concurrent projects and delegated tasks to in-house personnel, supervised onsite staff personnel during installation, commissioning and delivery of the deployed systems.

Developed, implemented and enforced company drafting standards, translated file formats, customized CAD programs to streamline tasks, managed internal review, prepared electronic file submission, and trained in-house CAD users.

Responsibilities included teaching a full semester Theatrical Rigging Course, instructing undergraduate students in safe and proper rigging practices used in the entertainment industry. Material included mathematical concepts and practical hands on skills.

Assist the site supervisor in various entertainment rigging installations around the greater New York City Area. Major projects include West Point's Eisenhower Hall, overhauling the rigging system with top of the line equipment, adding a new fire curtain system and numerous automated machinery from Electronic Theatre Controls and Thern Stage Equipment. Extensive supervision of local Ironworkers union labor.

Assisted the Technical Director in devising build strategies of scenic elements for the Theatre Departments spring productions. Involved extensive supervision of student labor.Show constructed include: The Drowsy Chaperone and The Normal Heart.

Budgeted for materials, generated shop drawings and managed the construction and install of scenic elements from build to opening. Served as the primary Technical Director for the White Theatre. Up-rigger on a full rigging renovation of Mira Costa Community College's Little Theatre.

Responsibilities include implementation and supervision of all carpentry and rigging requirements as requested by clients. Act as liaison between visiting clients and contracted stagehands to fulfill the demands of clients during contracted events.Productions include A Ride With Bob, The Smothers Brothers, The Vocal Majority: "Back to Broadway," Paul Taylor Dance, Cirque Imagination: "Montage," Divine Performing Arts Spectacular, The Manhattan Transfer, Motherload, and My Mother's Italian, My Father's Jewish and I'm in Therapy.
