For my background In the laboratory, during my graduation, I volunteered in a project, where I evaluated the Bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) role in Bone Tissue Repair on oncogenic patients, as well as the recruit of osteogenesis cells and the role of P53 in apoptosis.I developed and applied a methodic protocol that measures stress and strain among Orthodontic patients. With that data, I designed a mathematical model that could predict the treatment outcomes. For that I employed a Cone Beam Computed Tomography, using 3D slicer®, images were extracted and improved, eliminating artifacts. I structured a model with that image in CAD software ( Solid Works® and then Comsol®) and applied a Finite Element Method Framework was constructing the mandible and maxilla structures, altogether with an orthodontic apparatus.
