During the first stages of the COVID outbreak in 2020, there was increased need for fabric masks, as regular PPE was to be reserved for the healthcare industry. I saw a need in this area and created eco-masks, a small startup whose focus was to create handmade fabric masks. Utilizing recommended templates available on the web, I quickly created templates and a process to construct fabric masks. I hired students to produce the masks and provided this service to both the public and industry. Eco-masks went from $0 to $10,000 in sales in one month. We continued producing masks throughout the summer of 2020, but I stopped active production when my student workers went back to school. The website (eco-masks.ca) is still up and running selling existing inventory today. This also spawned a charity organization - FTCMasks.org which was developed by a group of concerned healthcare professionals.

Responsible for the development, and execution of 15-20 events for the organization, highlights are the 2019 Construction Leadership Forum (May 3-4, 2019) in Whistler, BC and the 2018 Awards of Excellence Gala in October. Since this was maternity leave coverage, I was also fulfilling my position as Web and Multimedia designer during this time.

Involved in the development of new graphics production system due to system inefficiencies of NxEdge. Heavily involved in testing and adaptations to the new system, (NxAdSmart) before rollout. Developed training material for this product for national graphics department. Primary trainer for NxAdSmart on a national basis, travelling to other provinces to implement training program. NxAdSmart was launched April 2004.

Implemented rollout of graphics system across Canada (NxEdge). Between 2001 - 2002 Superpages become a national company; therefore my role also involved evaluating each different Graphics department across Canada. After evaluating each province, my position involved modifying their processes to allow for improvements in work sharing and distribution on a national basis.
