Responsibilities include managing System wide compliance initiatives and projects: compliance education, policy and procedure redesign, operational strategic initiatives, and compliance and privacy reporting. The Office for Corporate Compliance and Privacy (OPCC) includes policies, education, training, auditing and the establishment of appropriate mechanisms to facilitate the sustainability of an organizational culture of compliance. • Develop, direct and oversee System wide OPCC initiatives and projects per the workplan• Identify system wide risks and project needs to incorporate into the annual workplan. Resource for and liaison between Bridgeport Hospital and Yale New Haven Health System’s Office of Privacy and Corporate Compliance working closely with management to develop, implement and maintain the Privacy and Corporate Compliance Program. The compliance program includes education, training and establishment of appropriate mechanisms to facilitate the sustainability of an organizational culture of compliance. Coordinates delivery network training and education initiatives, ongoing risk assessment, monitoring and auditing, policy and procedure development, and audits or investigations related to privacy and corporate compliance.
