With use of “best practice” project management tools and extra focus on communication across 3 countries, we managed to have 2 aircrafts in production in only 11 months…that is new record! • Installed a digital flight bag in 14 aircrafts. 120 crew members received a digital encyclopaedia with Flight maps, procedure handbook and Crew App. Among other things. New procedures where implemented, staff training was conducted, IT infrastructure established. The result was an annual fuel reduction of DKK150,000, faster and more secure document handling, optimization of crew processes, faster backup solutions etc. The solution was implemented in 7 months, for the benefit of aviation safety, personnel efficiency, environment and economy.Finally, I flew as First Office 8-10 hours a week within Europe on our route net.
