As a Support Equipment Design Engineer I am responsible for designing specialized tooling for servicing gearboxes of modern aircraft turbine engines (including accessory gearboxes, main power gearboxes and other aircraft engine accessories). I lead and execute design activities through conceptual design, detailed product definition and validation. I am liaising with the AvioAero organization and the Customer in the field of product design, industrialization and continuous improvement.My main duties include:• Defining and agreeing with the Customer and other functional teams the technical requirements for assigned projects/tasks,• Development, implementation and supervision of the project plan,• Development of the specialized service tooling of turboprop and turbofan aircraft gearboxes of modern aircraft (e.g. accessory gearboxes, main power gearboxes and other aircraft engine accessories) in accordance with general engineering principles, business standards/procedures and detailed customer requirements in order to meet product requirements,• Anticipating problems and proposing their solutions,• Preparation of technical documentation (drawing documentation in accordance with GD&T, user manuals and other supporting documents) and its archiving in databases,• Active participation in tests and validation of designed devices,• Providing ideas for optimization and products improvement.

In dynamic competitions, the car is tested in such categories as acceleration on a 75m section (Acceleration), kilometer obstacle course (Autocross) or a long-distance race over a distance of 22 km (Endurance). Static competition includes business plan (Business Plan Presentation), cost analysis (Cost & Manufacturing) and presentation of car design solutions (Engineering Design). The competitions are played on professional race tracks, which often host much more prestigious racing series, such as Formula 1. To enable safe and fair competition, many of the vehicle parameters have been imposed by the organizers in the official FS series regulations. The Formula Student competition is the largest and most prestigious engineering competition for universities around the world, where over a hundred teams compete with each other to gain the best positions. These professions closely combine theoretical and practical knowledge.
