As a software professional and technologist, I seek to understand and provide digital solutions to complex problems. I began my professional career as a Quality Assurance analyst, ensuring quality in every step of the software development lifecycle. Working tightly with Project Management and Development teams, my responsibilities included performing release management, tracking issues, and building automated test cases for ecommerce platforms. After three years in this position, I decided I wanted to pursue a more technical role. I returned to school to complete my undergraduate degree in computer science.I completed my B.S. Computer Science with a minor in mathematics, graduating with Academic Excellence and Magna Cum Laude. I enjoyed the coding challenges offered by the department curriculum and served as a leader on multiple software projects. I worked as a Teacher’s Assistant and administered the networking lab for students, teaching them skills to use software such as Cisco Packet Tracer and Wireshark.After my graduation, I took a software development position at a local manufacturing company. As lead developer, I designed, planned, and implemented a software solution which connects manufacturing machines to the cloud, allowing customers to securely login to a cloud-based web application and view the operation of machines in real-time, or view statistics about machines over time. The system collects enough data about manufacturing machines to provide a platform for today's data science.In my current position, I work as a sustainment developer with the Information Systems and Innovation (IS&I) group at Sikorsky. I currently support the Aviation Logistics Environment (ALE), providing similar data collection about Sikorsky aircraft to customers and maintainers.
