About Terry Lee
I have been primarily focused over my career on helping fintechs grow through sales, partnerships, product, marketing as well as streamlining and ramping operations. Growing a business is about fixing problems and building relationships. There is something new almost every day and it never gets old. In addition to Informed, I am also an advisor and investor with various start ups such as TWIGD, where we are taking companies from now to digital using branded games like The Waiting Game to turn the bad experience of waiting into a more delightful experience with your brand.Before Informed, I worked with a direct to consumer lender Avant to spin out a new entity Amount. At Amount we helped financial services companies accelerate their digital transformation to bring in more customers, quickly offer new products and expand their footprint while also improving the customer experience and reducing fraud. Prior to Amount I spent two years at FIS helping to grow a recently acquired business unit within Sungard. Integrated Payables worked with banks to help their commercial clients automate corporate invoicing and payments. Before FIS, I spent a year at Intel leading a product effort where we launched compliance and fraud solutions leveraging their newly acquired Saffron cognitive computing AI platform. Before Intel, I was President of Exari for about 8 years, where I helped grow the company substantially and prepare it for the eventual sale to Coupa. By providing contract management solutions, Exari leveraged analytics, NLP and machine learning. Prior to Exari, I ran the U.S. enterprise banking business at Efunds until we were acquired by FIS and subsequently spent about 6 months at FIS leading a team of product solution consultants. Before eFunds, I spent 6 years at IBM in various management, consulting, sales and business development positions focused on what we now call fintech. I was also part of the first AML Certification class from ACAMS. Way back in the day, I spent about 5 years as a co-founder of various technology startups and spent over 10 years on Wall Street in several positions including management, sales and compliance at what is now Citigroup and JP Morgan Chase. When not working, I try to get fit by trail running, climbing mountains and playing Ultimate frisbee while trying to avoid Ben & Jerry's Ice Cream.
