As Head of Productgroup Management I am responsible for product management & engineering within ERIKS Flow Control. I work with a team of 8 Product Managers, a manager product group and a manager engineering that report to me. Together with the manager engineering we're building a solid and growing engineering team of approx. 20 people to meet customer demand. As Head of Productgroup Management I'm part of the Management Team for ERIKS Flow Control.

In this project we have a special focus on the role of hydrogen in the energy transition.I strongly believe that creating the right environment and focus leads to successful innovation. Creating a culture where people are challenged to come up with new ideas, where we validate our ideas with customers, and try to fail and learn as quickly as possible, is key to successful innovation. My role is to create this environment so that we as a team can be as successful as possible.

During my time as Product Manager I split my time between managing a product portfolio for ERIKS Flow Control and innovative projects. The most important ones were Smart Services, Predicting Maintenance for quarter turn valves, and leading an ERIKS wide hydrogen project.

As part of a SHV program I went to Makro in Peru to set up a low-cost delivery service for HoReCa clients. We did this using a fixed route for our delivery service. With a team of 4 and an agile approach we're building our delivery service, testing it with customers, and learning from their reactions.

Setting up and managing the inside sales department of ERIKS Asset Management. In this role I set up 2 new teams: Predictive Maintenance and Process Solutions.- Predictive Maintenance being an innovation team using Agile Scrum to develop a cloud platform and facilitate in setting up new IoT solutions.- Process Solutions being an engineering team building pre-fabricated assemblies.Both teams started with 1 person, and grew to 4 persons by the end of 2017.

Coordinating the relocation of products from Alkmaar to Capelle a/d IJssel. The scope of this project is: - Implementation of SAP at the warehouse in Capelle- Relocating stock to Capelle, worth approx 2 million euro- Managing the change process connected to the new ERP system, new process, and the move of stock.
