Sensus – a part of Xylem’s digital portfolio – provides remotely-managed products and services that deliver the right data at the right time for investor-owned utilities, cooperatives, and municipalities.I was part of the executive team that led the $1.7B sale of Sensus from private equity – backed by the Jordan Group – to publicly traded Xylem. Following the acquisition, I integrated Sensus into Xylem portfolio of companies.Highlights:►Grew SaaS business to 1000+ customers and revenue from $17M revenue to $50M. ►Led software development team. Modernized standalone platform to multi-tenant operational platform increasing efficiency in cloud operations and reducing operational cost.►Participated in creation of management presentation for company sale. Presented software and data science information to key stakeholders and potential investors; led technology Q&A in due diligence. ►Integrated Verdeeco platform into Sensus corporate roadmap for SmartGrid, SmartWater, SmartGas, and Smart Cities.►Developed analytic strategy for Data Analytics solutions group, focused on delivering analytic applications to utilities that enhanced investment in communications, AMI, and SCADA networks. I was the twelfth person hired in this start up. Started as project manager and quickly moved to product management, sales engineer and eventually solutions sales lead for the south east. UAI built one of the first mobile engineering platforms on the ESRI software stack for utility design.
