Tony Brown is Partner, Executive & Board-level search, Co-Founder of T10 SEARCH + LEADERSHIP ADVISORY, since April 2023. He is Head of T10's NFP/NGO/Government Search Practice. He works with start-ups, corporates, C-Suite Executives and CEO | Boards. He supports on clients in ESG and Financial Services. Tony also serves as Vice Chair of T10's Advisory Board.Tony has over 25 years of experience in management of manufacturing operations, financial markets, management consulting, and executive search. He has served in a leadership capacity with The Prout Group, Renaissance Search Partners, and Horton International in NY and also with the boutique search firm, Whitney Group, where he developed a new practice. Prior to this, he was a Senior Managing Director and the Global Head of Staffing at Bear Stearns, where he was responsible for professional and campus recruiting and on-boarding. While at Bear, he also developed and led one of the first in-house search programs on Wall Street. Tony joined Bear Stearns from the search industry and had been a Principal at Egon Zehnder International in New York.Tony joined executive search from Bankers Trust Company, where he was a Managing Director and head of an internal consulting group. Tony began his consulting career in the Financial Institutions Practice at McKinsey & Company, where he was an Engagement Manager. Prior to consulting, Tony was a VP and trader at Lehman Brothers where he helped initiate the firm’s derivatives business. Tony began his career at Cobe Labs, a high tech biomedical device manufacturer in Colorado.Tony holds a BA in Engineering & Applied Sciences from Harvard University and an MBA from Stanford Business School. While in business school, he worked for Citibank in London and Paris, conducting a survey of French derivatives investors.Within the larger professional and civic communities, Tony served as a Board Member of the Academy of Finance in New York and the New York Chapter of the March of Dimes. He is on the Board of the Abyssinian Development Corporation and is also a member of the Board of Advisors for the Macaulay Honors College in New York. Tony is certified (CPIM) by APICS, The Association for Operations Management and was a registered representative (FINRA).
