I have a 30-year background working with Finance, Payroll and IT, and the integration of them.The first half of my life I was CEO/Partner in our family Service business. Over the 14-year period we grow the company from a small cleaning company to a country wide company with more than 500 employees, earning 4 Gazelle prizes in a row as one of Denmark’s fastest-growing companies.Main learnings from that time are how to handle a rapid growing company, implementing new systems including my first development of an ERP system (Concorde XAL), handling payroll to 500 hourly employees, negotiating with banks and general finance work in an owner managed company.The next half of my work-life have been in Kompetera/Advania. I started back in 2010 where Kompetera was just a startup company and owner managed. First task besides the day-to-day finance work was development and implementing of systems, including my second ERP development (Navision 2009r2).During my time at Kompetera, there was a significant focus on automating the finance function so we with only two persons in finance could handle more than 25.000 incoming invoices, all matching purchase orders and trigger the relevant sales order.As a side job I was co-founder and daily manager of our subsidiary company Kompetera Solutions specialized in delivering IT-consultant, hosting and backup solutions to our customers. In 2020 Kompetera was sold to the Nordic IT Group Advania. In 2021 the group was sold to private equity firms with Goldman Sachs as primary.This change in owner structure and suddenly being part of an international 10 billion SEK Group with 4000 employees have taught me a lot as the Finance department is “hit” by all the demands, IFRS rules, capital spending, international transfer pricing, data for the Sustainability Report and so on.The Advania journey have in addition to the financial knowledge given me the third ERP implementation with a migration to Microsoft Business Central.I am passionate about automation of processes, synergies between IT-systems, have the ability to create an overview and structure of large data amounts, processes etc. and finding the best way to go forward. I have a high technical IT knowledge including development in Navision, PowerBI solutions, setting up MS servers, Office 365 and of course Excel, at near expert level.What a journey it has been until now
