I'm a Senior Software Engineer at the Omni Group, a recognized leader in software development for the Mac OS X market, where I have had the pleasure to work alongside exceptional talent since 1995. Since 2003 my efforts have been focused on commercial applications. Currently, I am the dev lead for OmniPlan, our entry into the project planning market. As a consulting software engineer for Omni, I developed a broad platform of skills to meet a broad array of challenges. My past clients include MacPlay, Salon Transcripts, Adobe Systems, Co-op Technology, Standard & Poors, and Food.com.As a student and consultant at the University of Washington I delved into a wide variety of operating systems, architectures, and APIs before deciding that Unix gave me the most power as a programmer and as a scientific programmer I gained a strong an appreciation for how important a good graphical user interface is to deliver that power to the user. When NeXT came along, I embraced it enthusiastically as a giant stride forward in power and usability.
