Working with a team of mental and physical health therapists and other related providers in support of the BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ Community, including community events, health fairs, and social support networks to help underserved members of these communities to access culturally competent care and support.

I was a member of a multi-faceted communications team addressing print, digital, conventional and internet broadcast, cable TV, social media, web, and public relations for the Lansing School District. Individually I have produced multiple programs, such as the feature length documentary "Everett Dance: The Story of a Legacy", Highlighting 50 years of a unique High School Dance program in our district, and "Conversations": a talk show format spanning over 200 episodes on district information and news. I also managed broadcast systems engineering, being the primary point of responsibility for technical concerns regarding cablecast and production equipment support. Highlights include our team's work on media campaigns to successfully pass a $120 million bond issue in 2016 to change the landscape of several district facilities with modernizing upgrades, and recently completed an additional successful bond effort for $129.7 million in 2022 that will continue this effort with more modernization and 4 new elementary schools. Our department was honored with a Lansing School District Board of Education formal resolution in May 2020.Note: I have been employed in several positions with the District since 1993 in both part and full time roles involving media production and technical supports.

Taught university level courses in digital media: Intro to Web Design, Video Production, Photoshop (Beginner and Advanced). Held supplemental student focused workshops in studio photography and media design.

Vendor representative and Sales agent for Epson Imaging (Printers, Scanners, Projectors) America Account at customer level including retail stores such as Best Buy, CompUSA, Circuit City, OfficeDepot, Staples, and other resellers over a territory spanning a large part of Central and West Michigan. Duties included management of Point of Purchase (POP) informational and promotional materials, product demonstrations, CSR in-store trainings on EPSON offerings, and branding maintenance such as ensuring quality demonstration samples, floor models, and up to date promotional collateral. Earned "Weekend Warrior of the Month" recognition in February 2011 for exceeding regional sales goals.

Photography/Media Studio based in Lansing, MI focusing on family centered portraiture and video production services. All aspects of customer service and studio maintenance in the photography process from initial consultation to final delivery of media (digital or print), and financial management of the business operation.

Video News Production - daily editing of producer directed content for morning television news broadcasts using BetaCamSX and MII (archival) video formats. Tasks also included operation support of Microwave Live Truck, digital and tape media archival system use/logging, and general office support.

Managed technical aspects of TV broadcast in compliance with FCC Regulations, also handled satellite downlinks, UPN network and independent programming, and automated broadcast systems programming and operation. Station closed operations and sold back spectrum in the FCC Reverse Auction in 2017.

Managed technical aspects of WKAR-TV broadcast in compliance with FCC Regulations, also handled satellite downlinks and automated broadcast systems. This included coordinating distance learning (via ISDN data links) and operation of on-campus cable television networks.Graduated in 2002 and was no longer eligible for student employment.

Responsible for On-Site Technical support of PC and Mac computers and servers, operational needs and network support over a multi-building campus. Company contract was not renewed by Consumers Energy in late 1999.
