Senior Accountant Residential Services: Managed the general accounting, budgeting, and reporting of over 15 condominium associations as well as reported to ownership and maintained direct relationships with clients • Worked with property managers and legal staff in regards to legal issues surrounding condominium boards • Worked on various HUD Section 8 Senior housing projects and developments • Trained with and consulted the CHA on one of their Senior Section 8 clusters on the north side of the city • Reported to CHA on the financial status, health, budgets of this cluster • Worked on the Morse Senior publically funded senior housing development. I worked directly with the development division on construction budgets, grants, alternative funding, and operation of the development.

Senior Corporate Accountant: Managed the general accounting, budgeting, employment records, ownership expenses, reporting of the companies various corporate divisions to the companies director of finance and ownership • Senior accountants from the various divisions would report to me and present their divisions financial reports (fee income, expenses, budget variances, etc) and I would compile and present the “big picture” financial position of the overall company to ownership. Worked on the LINC grant & business opportunity incentive (an education and entrepreneurial program for individuals in underserved markets) • Helped manage the acquisition and tax structure of a large mixed income rental community • Assisted ownership on the corporate merger of a residential housing development firm (with concentration on affordable housing in the city) into the Urban umbrella • Worked with ownership and the development division on prospective large scale mixed use developments nation wide • Presented budgets, analysis, and proforma’s for the said developments • Worked with our 1031 division in regards to Tennant In Common investment structures and retail offerings for tax deferred “parking lots”.

Senior Accountant Commercial Property Management Division: Managed the general accounting and reporting to ownership and clients on a portfolio of 20 retail properties • Budgeting and budget oversight on those operating commercial / retail properties • Supervision of the accounts payable and receivable departments in relation to my portfolio • CAM reconciliations and working with retail tenants on those reconciliations • Managed the financial aspect of Urban Works, an in-house maintenance services contracted to maintain retail properties as well as worked with the State of Illinois Welfare to Works program as a means to staff the company • Was on various committees, one that managed the conversion and upgrading of the companies Accounting & Property Management software • Trained new accountants on various aspects of the commercial portfolio • Held training classes to optimize the efficiency of excel • Worked with lenders on various reporting needs.
