As a Project Engineer – Mine Closure Travis is responsible for the following;* Coordinating various mine closure related projects at Century Mine;* Balance seemingly competing priorities and resources between operational requirements and mine closure activities;* Working closely with the mine operations teams to deliver rehabilitation earthworks in an efficient and cost effective manner;* Schedule earthworks equipment and personnel to undertake the program of works;* Schedule rehabilitation earthworks into mining plans;* Track and monitor all works - setup and provide daily reports on bulk rehabilitation earthworks volumes moved for review at the daily production meetings;* Monitor short term plant and equipment performance;* Defining the scope of work coordinating, controlling and implementing design changes;* Develop strong partnerships with site stakeholders to ensure delivery against short, medium and long term objectives;* Demonstrable value adding to the business through the provision of professional services and related behaviours; and* Assist mine operations and mine planners with any engineering problems directly related to mine operations.
