I worked at a public institution supported by the Brazilian government, tasked with providing infrastructure to researchers worldwide to facilitate their work. My primary responsibility was developing systems to streamline internal processes, ultimately reducing costs, saving resources, and minimizing human errors.One significant project involved collaborating with a team of programmers to create a system that stored data from the synchrotron light source. This system generated reports on the status of key goals mandated by the government, aiding directors in meeting annual targets efficiently.Key Activities:- Provided support for ERP TOTVS RM and generated administrative reports.- Developed systems to integrate the ERP with another financial database, enhancing data coherence and accessibility.- Conducted requirements analysis, crafted use cases, prepared manuals, and documented systems thoroughly.- Engaged in software development for both web and desktop applications using technologies such as JAVA, ASP, PHP, and Delphi.- Implemented Active Directory for user authentication within systems, ensuring secure access.- Developed a module for online payment collection via credit card and bank transactions, enhancing payment processing efficiency.- Conducted maintenance on existing systems (Java, ASP, PHP, Delphi, etc.), ensuring optimal performance and functionality.- Administered and designed databases using MS SQL Server and MySQL, optimizing data management and retrieval.- Provided user training to ensure efficient utilization of developed systems.
