Inspire Arizona's mission is to transform young leaders' inspiration into action that improves our communities and strengthens our democracy.Inspire Arizona hosts an annual leadership academy for remarkable high school student leaders designed to educate and motivate them to take action in their own communities. Student leaders who participate in the academy then run a community project of their own design at their high school, register students to vote, and recruit volunteers to support their efforts.About a year after creating Inspire, we began opening projects in other states. First in West Virginia and Kentucky the program has now expanded to several other states.

Young Democrats of America is the nation’s largest partisan youth organization. Charged with creating a new generation of Democratic voters, the organization focuses on non-student partisan youth turnout campaigns, leadership development, and progressive issue advocacy. The National Political Director is responsible for the planning and implementation of YDA programming and campaigns, management of internal politics, and the development of organizational alliances.

The Arizona Democratic Party pioneered the combination of field operations, neighbor to neighbor organizing, and online grassroots development. Created for the 2004 Coordinated Campaign, the Non-Traditional Campaigns Director was a senior level position responsible for developing and managing efforts to modernize existing field activity while recruiting and training new activists. These days you'd probably call this a digital organizing director, but no such job existed back then.

GenDean was Dean for America’s groundbreaking campaign to organize and turnout young voters. The National Director for Strategies and Resources was responsible for providing existing organizations with the resources required to evolve local chapters from campus and community clubs to field based voter turnout campaigns targeting important early primaries and caucuses.

The BarBri National Student Leadership Foundation hosts conferences for high school leaders to further civic engagement, develop leadership skills, and provide early professional development for various career paths.
