My work consists of managing complex telecommunication projects for virtual PaBX solutions. Our projects include both implementation, deployment and migrations projects to large telecommunication operators. Our solutions deployments are used by millions of users and are carrier graded systems.I am the main contact point to the customer, external partners, sales and development team. I can understand the technical side of the business and empathize with the customer needs, helping to drive our projects into the right direction for creating value to the customer. My day-to-day job includes requirement engineering, documentation, resource allocation and prioritization, release management and facilitating communication among all stakeholders.

So far, I've worked in 10 large (with duration ranging from 3-5 years) research projects at SINTEF. I've played many roles on those projects: from software development to software architecture design; from requirements gathering and design to evaluation; and from project management to dissemination. Application-wise, I have worked with mobile health, internet of things, social networks, gamification and sharing platforms.I've accumulated 22 scientific publications where the majority have been on human computer interaction, computer supported cooperative work and social computing.

As a Steering Comitee member I am responsible for the decision making regarding the future of the association and at the same time for the specification of requirements we pose to our service providers.Meanwhile, as Professional Development coordinator, I coordinate a team of around 5-10 volunteers in different parts of the world. We work together to run projects inside the organization facilitating the professional development of our members.

I worked in the Telenor R&D at the Future SIM project. There, Ive been mainly designing software related to the wireless lan component of a sim card with an embedded wlan antenna. That was a continuation of my Master Thesis work, which has also resulted in a peer-reviwed scientific publication.

I’ve worked at Gemalto as first level support team to the Latin American Mobile Communication Operators. There, I’ve provided technical support for Customers (including, Claro, the biggest GSM Mobile Com Operator in Brazil) related to the Over-the-air platforms behavior and SMPP protocol. Thanks to my contribution, we managed to get excellent support ratings from Claro.

I have worked at Gemalto providing Technical Support and trainings for both internal and external Customers around Latin America. The support mainly focused on data security in both the Smart Card personalization and operation, besides the corporative tools and processes. As one of my main realizations, I’ve led a project for the redefinition, implementation and management of a smart card remote personalization process which enabled us to reduce significantly the test card delivery time.

I Worked at the Wireless Team from LSI – USP (Laboratory of Integrated Systems) on software code optimizations and the development of prototype applications for mobile devices (programming mainly in C and java).
