My role as a science presenter focuses on science communication and education of the Western Australian public with a particular emphasis on integrated STEM learning. Working mainly with children aged 2-7 years of age, I perform educational puppet shows and run school programs ranging from astronomy to zoology and everything in between. I am also involved with the CSIRO Lab, planning and running workshops related to coding, robotics, biology and electronic systems, amongst other STEM topics.

Barrow Island

As a field technician with Pendoley Environmental I am responsible for the collection of biological data pertaining to the nesting habits of marine turtles in northwest Western Australia.I am involved with the tagging program of flatback turtles to monitor population health in association with the natural resource industry, and with monitoring programs relating to success rates of incubation and hatchling emergence in flatback turtles.I am also responsible for the training of volunteer staff in correct procedures for tagging marine turtles and data collection whilst complying with HESQ requirements.
