Provide support to Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Plant in the purchasing of parts,materials, and services to be used in safety related and non-safety relatedapplications. Gained expertise performing item equivalency evaluations, bill ofmaterial verification, technical safety classification evaluations, and reviewingdesign documents/drawings.* Perform Procurement Engineering evaluation, commercial grade dedication, anditem equivalency evaluations in support of site operations, maintenance andengineering departments.* Provide field and engineering experience expertise to the site ProcurementEngineering staff.* Utilize field and engineering experience in the production for standardProcurement Engineering products, and in the performance of specialassignments.* Responsible for the understanding and application of utility procedures,standards and policies, as well as industry, vendor and regulatory informationmade available by the site Procurement Engineering organization. Mobile Water and Build, Own, and Operate field operation and installation ofdemineralization, de-oxygenation, reverse osmosis, and other customized waterpurification applications. Completed a comprehensive course in water treatmenttechnologies and processes.* Provide service and support to customer sites within region and nationwide asneeded.* Acts as technical consultant and liaison with customer management andtechnical counterparts.* Install and service chemical feed and water treatment equipment at designatedlocations, troubleshoot and repair pumps, instruments and control panels,perform water analysis and/or collect samples for preparation, calibrate andconduct preventative maintenance feed pumps, controllers, feed rate charts andmaintain log sheets, maintain inventory of spare parts (lube oil, tubing, piping,etc), and adequate supply of reagents.

Operated aerobic and anaerobic reaction vessels used for pretreatment of landfillleachate. Assisted in rewiring of site network system. Maintained pumps andtanks on site while overseeing transfer of pretreated water to outgoingcontainers.* Serviced and maintained pretreatment plant* Developed problem solving techniques in the field
