Tchad came to Sheffield in 1999 to visit a friend- and never went home! He joined Sheffield college supporting students IT classes and set up a company doing rebrand web work for BBC News 24 to fund his way through a year on a church leadership programme. His role at Sheffield college developed into lecturing in ICT and technical support at a Sheffield school, followed by eighteen months in Italy learning Italian, coordinating development teams working in a refugee camp on the outskirts of Rome and then Catania, Sicily.In January 2005, Tchad returned to Sheffield and joined leading creative company Technophiobia as a client manager working with large national clients like Green Flag, Tracker and Henry Boot. Redundancy caused Tchad to look carefully at his future while freelancing in consulting, and bring together all his experience and skills in starting up his own consulting business, Lichfield.As a licensed Myers Briggs European practitioner, Tchad has worked extensively to cultivate teams in the UK, Norway and Italy and has developed particular expertise in service industries.Lichfield Consulting has developed organically over the past fifteen years as Tchad found his expertise in demand from multiple organisations. In 2011, he took on the position of Corporate Fundraiser for the Children's Hospital Charity based in Sheffield and has helped the charity grow its presence and income streams significantly and now sits as the Chief Fun Officer in the charity looking for opportunities to further its reach and relationships. He also has a small portfolio of other roles including helping to promote the ground breaking compliance management tools from OE Services, working with a US based international missionary society, and a new PGA European Golf development.
