Following a successful exit to Flash Parking, I am sticking around to continue executing on our vision to bring our on-prem infrastructure into the cloud.At Ticketech I am leading the cloud migration of our offline-first solutions. I am building a distributed team, and revamping our architecture so that we can move at lightning speed. Additionally, I am performing due diligence on acquisitions, shoring up any potential security holes, and modernizing our infrastructure and offerings.

At Gulf Coast Solutions I serve as the Chief Technology Officer. In this role I work with the executive staff to make high level decisions on technology strategy and direction, ensure technologies are being used securely and efficiently, and evaluate/improve systems and infrastructure. I lead our R&D efforts to discover new and emerging technologies and work directly with the executives to develop the technical aspect of our company strategy to meet our objectives and goals.

At Gulf Coast Solutions I worked as the senior architect for the company. In this role I make high level decisions on technology strategy and direction, set standards on CI/CD practices, set technical interview standards, manage our technical tools and products, and set functional requirements for new applications. I also manage the relationship between Gulf Coast Solutions and one of our biggest clients, Turner Construction. We are actively developing a web application that allows users to sync and forecast against the entire SAP ledger.

My responsibilities as a software engineer at Gulf Coast Solutions were numerous. I was the primary developer of a bulk SMS messaging application, primary developer of an iOS mobile application, and worked as a software engineer on a conversion of a large web forms application to .Net MVC. Throughout my time as a software engineer I had experience with MongoDB, MSSL, .Net MVC, .Net Webforms, Xamarin, Swift, Azure, and AWS.

At Praedx I served as the manage of software development and worked directly with the CEO to implement a healthcare analytics tool. We ingested data from multiple EMRs and built a data visualization and analytics tool for doctors, hospitals, and clinicians to manage their patient population. We also interfaced with their accounting software so that smaller clinics could get a 360 degree view of their business from patient interaction to financials.In my role as manager of software development I was the lead developer, lead system architect, and manager of the development staff. I ran code reviews, helped with employee training, and helped our chief executive demo our product to land sales. It was a startup so I was involved in nearly all facets of the business.

I initially worked here a software engineer developing an internal CRM/ERP for a local business. Eventually I worked my way up to project lead and senior software engineer where I was tasked with integrating multiple Quickbooks files with the CRM/ERP and building order processing into the CRM/ERP as well. Due to the success of this integration project I was promoted to Manager of Marketing and Software Development where I managed the marketing team including web and print marketing and the development team which consisted of a customer facing development team and an internal development for the CRM/ERP.
