• Developed and executed BGAPSA’s social media strategy including the creation and management of the organization’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram and enabling cross posting between platforms.• Increased Facebook outreach by 288% unique page visitors and an average of 230 post likes per month, a 182% increase over the initial benchmark and doubled the organization’s Twitter following over the same time period.• Curated content for the social media pages and monthly newsletter including event promotion, organizational updates, community advocacy and outreach, and multi-organizational information regarding events organized on campus during the 2015-2016 academic year.• Used Google Analytics, Twitter Analytics, and Facebook Insights to monitor page and post outreach, measure visitor growth and demographics on a monthly basis, and discover what types of posts (text, audio, or video based) garnered the most viewer interaction, measure conversion rate as defined by page likes, listserv subscribers, and new followers; tracked which channels drove the most traffic to the BGAPSA website, and informed changes needed to BGAPSA’s social media strategy.• Live-tweeted organizational events to encourage member interaction and created unique event specific hashtags to facilitate conversation among event attendees and collect questions for speakers from virtual streaming attendees.
