At the beginning of my career, I graduated from RF Transmission Tech School and spent three years providing communications in the National Capital Region. As a Cyber Defense Operator, my specialty is in RF transmission technology, particularly with Land Mobile Radios such as Harris XL-200 and Motorola APX8000. Notably, I played a crucial role in providing essential communications for the 2022 Joint Base Andrews Airshow, ensuring seamless coordination among 60,000 attendees with 2,000 radios distributed to every Airman and contractor working the Airshow.In December 2022, I was entrusted with providing secure communications for the African Leader Summit. Over the past year, I have been part of the leadership and technical team that implemented Base-Wide encryption for every radio on Joint Base Andrews, while also collaborating with Voice Airmen to install LAN phones for various customers. My skill set extends to installing and programming network switches, uninterruptible power supplies, and fiber optic cable infrastructure.In October 2022, I obtained the Security+ certificate, and I've held various leadership roles, training and managing Airmen in communication procedures. I initiated and refined our unit's Giant Voice procedures to ensure antenna reliability checks. Additionally, I served as a unit fitness manager and physical training leader for over 200 personnel.Volunteering is integral to my career, both on and off base. I've coached baseball in the summer, mentored and educated teenagers at the Naval Academy, and participated in the state funeral exercise for Jimmy Carter. I've collaborated closely with units such as Explosive Ordnance Disposal, Fire, Emergency Services, and Security Forces to meet their mission requirements.Furthermore, I graduated from the Air Force Special Warfare Preparatory Course and dedicated all of 2021 to training with Tactical Air Control Party Airmen. I have attended numerous professional development courses focusing on leadership, organization, networking, and time management.I am committed to embodying the core value of Excellence in all we do and continuously strive to enhance my skills.
