As a senior business solution software architect and consultant my personal goal is to create software that does not just fulfill the requirements at hand but also helps to move my clients company forward toward their businesses future. I always focus on four key development areas as I start a new project: good requirement coverage, solid coding practices, testability, and maintainability. These key areas lead to reduced costs for my clients and the ability for them to make changes to their software in the future so that they can adapt to an even changing technical climate without incurring unplanned for and unmanaged expenses.These principles stated above have shaped my career as I have worked to help develop my clients business. When I move to a new project I like to answer the question, "how can I make the life of my client a little more simple?" This question always returns to the keys and principles above. Whether I am working on a project that is behind schedule, over budget, and buggy, or a brand new research and development project, it is important to remember to write good, well tested, and universally maintainable code so that my clients are happy.
