I am a student at Indiana University and am a direct admit into the Kelley School of Business aspiring towards a double major in accounting and finance. I consider myself to be a skilled multi-tasker that is capable of handling more than one job at all time, whilst being able to still properly delegate my time to do correctly carry out each task or job. This also means that I'm aware of my limits and do not take on more than I can handle. As a student in high school I was not only focused on academics, but I also concerned myself with extracurriculars. I was already a part of the Boy Scouts of America which took up time not only from meetings, but also from rank advancement work. I started out small by simply joining the hockey team my freshman year. However small is a relative term because aside from the practices, games, and workouts that took up around 6 days of the week, it also took a physical and mental toll on me that I had to overcome. Once I got a handle on that, the next year I joined the a Relay for Life team and was inducted into the National Honor Society which required not only academic success, but also community volunteer work. In my Junior year I got a job as I felt I had my other responsibilities in check and that also shaved into my time. Overall I'd say I'm just well suited to take on multiple tasks and I ensure that I have my other responsibilities in order before I feel I'm ready to take on something new.
