As BDM for BOC I was responsible for generating new business for BOC's Industrial Gases.

Accucut is part of a Canadian group of companies; consisting of a carbon based steel plate processing/distribution center and two machining divisions in addition to a welding / fabrication division.

Working with Copland Events I helped to expand the innovative MTB "Meet the Buyer" concept to a total of 9 events a year. The core focus is on the Marine Industry, with expertise in the Oil and Gas market. I assisted with the launch of the energy division, and also the new launch of MTB Superyachts, which was extremely well received.My personal responsibilities were for MTB Workboats (launched personally in 2010) and MTB Marine Americas (launched in 2011) forums. I also oversaw the sales team, training new employees and providing support.Through the MTB "Meet the Buyer" format Copland aims to "match-make" companies, by providing them with focussed meetings over 2 days, with 3 nights of networking to form good business relationships. The meetings are based on the request of the buyers and suppliers, so everyone's time is maximised as everyone sees who they want to see. My role was very wide-ranging providing both Purchasers and Suppliers alike with the information they needed to make the informed decisions about whether we could help their business and whether to join us at an MTB "Meet the Buyer" forum. I also helped with the management of the sales and marketing team, and the events themselves.

Working on Sales of the Hamworthy-Greenship Ballast Water Treatment system. Presenting and promoting the system directly to Technical/Procurement Directors/Managers at Shipowners and Shipyards worldwide. Core markets were France, Netherlands, Italy, Middle East, China, Japan and the UK.
