I am a dual-qualified corporate lawyer, admitted in both New York and England & Wales. With over 10 years practicing as a lawyer, I have advised financial institutions, funds and international corporations on a wide range of corporate transactions in North and South America, Europe, and Asia. My experience includes leveraged and acquisition finance, private equity, project and infrastructure finance, investment grade lending, refinancings and general corporate lending, property finance, emerging markets debt, capital markets, securitization, interest rate, credit and other derivatives products, restructuring and work-outs. Currently, I am a senior associate in the Banking and Credit team of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP in New York, one of the pre-eminent finance groups in the world. In 2014, the team was named ‘Finance Team of the Year’ by Chambers USA, having advised on transactions totaling $290 billion in 2014 alone - $86 billion more than the firm’s nearest competitor (Loan Pricing Corporation). I have significant experience working in private practice and in-house, in both London and New York. Prior to joining Simpson Thacher, I spent 6 years working in the Banking & Capital Markets team of White & Case LLP's London office, which included a one-year secondment to the firm’s New York office and a 10 month placement advising the Emerging Markets Desk of Deutsche Bank in London. I have also spent time in the legal team of another international German bank in London. During the beginning of my legal career, I worked in a number of the UK offices of Squire Patton Boggs, another international law firm.
