Building upon the experience gained with QMSLP, as President of Quality Management Solutions, Inc., I spearheaded the establishment of a leading aviation quality management consulting firm. Notably QMS, Inc. was key to the successful recovery of a Major US Airline post-tragedy. Transitioning the business to T C Willis, llc (see above) in September 2001, I ensured practice continuity and aviation industry support worldwide following the world changing events of September 11th.

In my role as Co-founder and President of Quality Management Solutions, LP, I oversaw international aviation management consulting, training, and specialized aerospace auditing and recruiting services. Notably, QMSLP was instrumental in the formation and management of the Airline (now Aviation) Suppliers Association Accreditation Audit Organization under FAA Advisory Circular AC 00-56 governed Voluntary Industry Distributor Accreditation Program for over three years. Following successful acquisition and re-branding, QMSLP was transitioned to the Greater Wichita, Kansas area.

My career with American Airlines began in late 1979 as an FAA Certificated A&P in a 90-day role as an Aircraft Cleaner, progressing to various senior mechanic positions. After completing active-duty military leave, Leave status was converted to lay-off. After two years as an Instructor with the Tulsa Vo-tech Aeromechanics program, I was recalled to American Airlines in 1983. The Quality Manager (Level V) position noted above began in January 1989 and was my final position prior to early retirement and the founding of my first successful consulting firm, Quality Management Solutions.
