Provided strategic, program, and project management leadership for implementing the company’s SaaS-Based ERP system (Student, Finance, HR/Payroll, Fin Aid, etc.), CRM (Reach), analytics, and other offerings at enterprise/strategic higher education accounts.

Provided full-time interim CIO leadership to produce key deliverables that enable colleges and universities to make informed decisions about the best approaches to address institutional technology needs. These activities included but were not limited to: Development and implementation of integrated administrative and instructional technology strategic plans, development of technology budgets aligned with strategic and tactical plans, assistance in the determination of near-term institution-wide IT priorities through consultation with instructional and administrative user constituencies, and appropriate governance structures, talent management support, and day-to-day tactical and technical leadership of the Information Resources department.

The TN-Summit (est. 2006) was an annual event that was open to higher-education professionals in Tennessee and surrounding states who adopted the Banner® ERP system from Ellucian. It was established to provide an informal forum where participants could present and share information for the active examination of how administrative technology supports the institution as well as the students, faculty, and staff, and how this support could be improved upon.

Prior to its restructuring in 2016, the Tennessee Board of Regents (TBR) system consisted of 46 post-secondary educational institutions. With a combined annual enrollment of over 200K students, it was one of the nation's largest systems of public higher education. The TBR system was a $2.4+ billion per year enterprise that was comprised of 6 universities (which included law, pharmacy, and medical schools), 13 community colleges, and 27 colleges of applied technology that offered classes in 90 of Tennessee's 95 counties. Served as the CIO senior IT executive for the system.

Served as a consultant to regional, national and international companies as well as higher education on a variety of IT management issues including technology assessment, cost & risk analysis, business intelligence, ERP, talent management, and other topics.

Georgia Perimeter College was an associate degree-granting college of the University System of Georgia that was merged with Georgia State University. With six locations in the Atlanta area, it was among the nation's fastest-growing metropolitan two-year colleges. Enrolling more than 21,000 students, GPC was the third-largest institution in the Georgia system. Served as the senior IT executive with responsibility for administrative & academic computing, and telephony for the institution.

Additionally, the Crummer Graduate School of Business offers a nationally ranked MBA program and the Hamilton Holt School serves the community through exceptional undergraduate and graduate evening degree and outreach programs. Held multiple IT leadership roles of increasing responsibility culminating as the senior IT executive with responsibility for administrative and academic computing for the institution.
