I have worked for the last ten years serving individuals experiencing homelessness both in direct service and in development and administration.I have worked with several grant-making entities including HUD, DHHR, and the VA, writing new grants and running existing programs that operate under these entities. I have served as a case manager, an outreach specialist, and a programs manager for a Community Action lead homeless shelter, which included three facilities, two VA grant-per-diem programs, and two permanent housing programs.Extensive experience creating and maintaining a budget that included multiple overlapping grants, systems of reporting and measurement, and key spend-out dates. Took a starting budget of around $276k to $450k within four years. Experience winning new grants, including a major infrastructure/rehabilitation grant and then implementing them at an operational level.I have written and participated in more than one strategic plan, a needs assessment process, and a fundraising plan.
