Primary responsibilities in Construction Services included administrative support for activities such as utility locates, customer billing, input of field data in corporate accounting software, aging/cash flow management, budget development/tracking and reporting, both internal and customer required. Primary responsibilities in Procurement included providing accurate material take-offs, sourcing, cost estimates; managing inventory levels (min/max) and re-distribution of construction materials and supplies between 8 company warehouses including serial numbered inventory of natural gas meters; inventory accuracy through cycle counts, and maintaining profitable vendor relations.

Led the transition from customer supplied material to contractor supplied material for a natural gas pipeline contractor; established an automated inventory system; established eight company warehouses; created electronic material ordering system; trained material supervisors at each location on inventory management; reduced the inventory discrepancies from 20% the year prior to 5% after one year and 2% after year two; implemented cycle counts and inventory best practices; reduced overall company inventory by 25% after year two by implementing inventory min/max levels, monitoring and directing returns of excess materials, and inter-company material transfers; developed corporate purchasing standard operating procedures.
