Raised in Bowling Green, Timothy David Douglas attended the University of Kentucky in Lexington, receiving both a Bachelor of Architecture with a minor in Music History and Theory and a Master of Architecture with an emphasis in town planning. While in Lexington, Tim had the opportunity to work as an independent contractor for the Downtown Development Authority, presenting schematic designs for such notable projects as the Lexington Farmers Market (completed in early 2010) and was heavily involved in the Lexington Downtown Master Plan put in place in anticipation of the World Equestrian Games, held in Lexington in 2010. He was also awarded the Oswald Creativity Grant for a campus-wide competition in the fine arts category for the composition of an original musical work for organ.Relocating to New York in 2006, Tim worked on a variety of restaurant and retail projects at Tree House Design. Among the projects he has worked on are Crumbs Bakeshop, Dinosaur Bar-B-Que, Accademia di Vino, Ollie's, several residential remodels and various projects for the New York Athletic Club, amongst others.In 2014, Tim joined Kenneth Park Architects as a Project Manager/Architect, serving for high-end retail clients such as Chanel, Hugo Boss, Lacoste, Salvatorre Ferragamo, and Yves Saint Laurent as well as project lead for the redevelopment of Monmouth Mall in Eatontown, New Jersey; Hudson Mall in Jersey City, New Jersey; Yonkers Gateway Center in Yonkers, New York. In April of 2016, he became an architect licensed by New York State.
