As VP of Underwriting Services with Examination Management Services, Inc. (EMSI) in Waco, Texas where she heads up the underwriting services division that supports the various underwriting needs of life, health, long term care, and reinsurance carriers. Traci has over 28 years of medical underwriting experience and has held senior underwriting and management positions with premier life and reinsurance carriers. She has held various underwriting and leadership roles during tenure with ING companies; direct, brokerage, M Financial, and facultative reinsurance roles. She later joined Scottish Re in the facultative underwriting department with a focus on contestable claims. Prior to joining EMSI in 2010 Traci was the founder and president of a successful underwriting services firm that provided consultative services to various insurance related markets and organizations with a focus on senior mortality and impairment risk analysis. Traci is presently the EVP and future President (2017) of the Association of Home Office Underwriters (AHOU) and recently served as VP of Programs for the 2014 conference. She has also had a long history of support in the local underwriting club in Colorado-the Rocky Mountain Society of Home Office Underwriters (RMSHOU) and has been a member since 1990-most recently serving as Past President of RMSHOU (2012). Traci is actively involved in various underwriting associations (local, regional, and national) as a member and proud sponsor through EMSI and takes an active role in various industry study groups and focus groups.
