• Managing and training junior staff on client engagements across a number of areas, including IT audit, in both the public and private sectors.
• Management of a number of client engagements, including the service auditor reporting for a large property management company.

• My key responsibilities at Admiral Group were:
• Independent creation and delivery of the annual IT internal audit plan across all of Admiral Group’s global operations, managing time and workload to ensure the plan is completed.
• Building and maintaining relationships with CEOs, other senior management and staff across Admiral Group’s global businesses.
• Planning, scoping and performing IT internal audits around a number of areas, including a project review of a new system implementation at Admiral Group’s largest overseas subsidiary.
• Producing reports for presentation at both Audit Committee and to the board of directors.
• Managing individuals joining IT internal audit on secondment, including providing support and training where required, providing day to day management to ensure that work is completed and to sufficient quality.

• During my time within the Risk Advisory service line within Deloitte, my responsibilities included:
• Performing control testing, in particular around IT systems, in both an internal and external audit capacity for clients across various markets, including the Financial Services sector, across the UK from large PLC’s.
• Working on a multitude of high profile and conceptually challenging engagements.
• Management of field staff on a number of engagements, management of budgets, review of working papers and production of reports.
• Internal and external stakeholder management, co-ordination and relationship management of stakeholders at all levels, including managing relationships with overseas teams.
