My key responsibilities at Admiral Group were:• Independent creation and delivery of the annual IT internal audit plan across all of Admiral Group’s global operations, managing time and workload to ensure the plan is completed.• Building and maintaining relationships with CEOs, other senior management and staff across Admiral Group’s global businesses.• Planning, scoping and performing IT internal audits around a number of areas, including a project review of a new system implementation at Admiral Group’s largest overseas subsidiary.• Producing reports for presentation at both Audit Committee and to the board of directors.• Managing individuals joining IT internal audit on secondment, including providing support and training where required, providing day to day management to ensure that work is completed and to sufficient quality.• Reviewing the work of other staff within the internal audit department and providing feedback to ensure reports are produced to a high standard.• Security Champion for the Internal Audit Department, communicating policy and training requirements and monitoring Department adherence to these.
